We’re thrilled to announce that BiomeSense has accepted an invitation to join IndieBio, a life sciences accelerator in San Francisco dedicated to launching biotechnology start-ups, for the cohort running from February to June.
Through this program BiomeSense will receive multiple critical resources, including $250,000 in seed funding, lab and co-working space, dedicated mentorship, and access to a network of IndieBio alumni, investors, biotech entrepreneurs, press, corporate partners, and more. Most excitingly, at the end of the program, we’ll demo our solution directly to the network, allowing us to capitalize on the progress made during the time there.
In addition to these resources, BiomeSense will be relocating to San Francisco for the duration of the program, giving us direct access to the Bay Area investment community and putting us in an excellent position to build on the significant fundraising momentum we’ve already established. With this investment, we’re halfway to our seed round target of $1M and look forward to completing the round by engaging our existing Midwest and rapidly growing Bay Area investment network.
Thank you to everyone who’s supported us thus far – it’s difficult to believe how far we’ve come in the short time since the company was formed, and we couldn’t have done it without the amazing advisors, mentors, and partners we work with every single day. I look forward to providing even more exciting updates as we continue our growth!
